Kara Young

Working in this business you have many memorable days and some forgettable days. With Kara you laugh in the cab on the way to work, just anticipating her first hilarious remark. Needless to say, all my days spent with her leave fond memories. Kara and I met what seems like ages ago (it must be fifteen years now) and have worked together quite a bit over the years, including on a Vogue cover which was considered quite a milestone. (Since Kara is of a multiethnic back-ground, for a major magazine to show her off that way was cause for an amazing amount of discussion and debate.)

The beautiful portrait of her on the left is technically an "after" shot. Kara underwent one of those porcelain veneer procedures I described, with Dr. Lituchy. With a smile that radiant I kept the balance of the backup low-key.
